I just moved from London and was looking for a good matcha place in Preston. Found this beautiful cafe right outside the Preston Railway Station that serves not just good ambiance but also great Matcha. Highly recommend their bakery items - esp the peanut butter cookies!!

We arrived as a large group with 3 dogs (which can be tricky in a small coffee shop). We were greeted immediately and staff went out of their way to ensure humans and canines were well catered for , including a wide range of gluten free options. Really great menu choices and food beautifully presented. An absolute must when visiting York. We will definitely make a return visit. Special shout out to Ellie for going out of her way for us.

Preston’s best specialty coffee shop is where I spend a lot of time. I enjoy having high-quality coffee with a book in this amazing environment.
I always enjoy my trips to Rise on Fishergate, the coffee is great and they have a wide range of options for the size of the coffee shop. On my recent visit I tried an Açai Bowl which wasn't really to my taste although I could see why others would love it - I did really like the Granola which was part of it and my daughter had a pain au chocolat which was a bit dry and crispy. Despite this I'll definitely be back soon to try more items off the menu. Thank you team Rise for everything you do, you're a great part of our city.
For a coffee & cake Rise can feel a little pricey, but the friendly staff, delicious pastries, artful coffees & yummy sandwiches make up for it! I regularly order the pistachio cruffin, the oatmilk lattes here are excellent & they always check whether its alergy or preference (which i really appreciate). The Ruben sandwich is my go to for a light lunch. Its always clean. In summery, a bit pricey, but delicious & a bit different to wile away a bit of time in.
Great location for a coffee (tasty) before catching the train and nice interior. Open till 6pm which is great because most cafes even in London shut before 4pm
Some of the best coffee I've had in the UK! Rise was a rare coffee gem in both Preston and the UK, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The coffee (specifically flat white) was exceptionally well made, and the latte art was also great. It was so good I went back and got a decaf when my train was delayed! Staff were super friendly, and the whole place was lovely. Strongly recommend!
